What you will be doing

Build and maintain backend services connecting to BigQuery and various data sources.

Develop data processing pipelines with optimized queries and caching.

Design and implement RESTful APIs for data visualization and user management.

Implement user authentication and role-based access control (RBAC).

Optimize database performance and large-scale data processing.

Develop real-time data processing using message queues.

Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.
Requirements
Backend Development
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
Experience developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
Understanding of multiple data source integrations.
Experience in real-time data processing.
Performance & Optimization
Proficient in caching strategies (Redis) and database optimization
Experience with database indexing and performance tuning
Strong skills in query optimization for large datasets
Security & Authentication
Experience implementing authentication and RBAC systems.
Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and session management.
Understanding of data security best practices
Cloud & Infrastructure
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP): BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions.
Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes containerization.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI).
