Game Product Manager
(LiveOps Focus)

Job Description

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop the game product roadmap based on company objectives, market insights, and team resources.

  • Define directions for features, in-game events, content updates, and monetization mechanisms to achieve key performance indicators (retention, DAU, revenue).

  • Balance player experience with business performance.

2. Operations & LiveOps

  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics (D1/D7/D30 retention, DAU/MAU, ARPU, ARPPU, LTV).

  • Plan and execute events, campaigns, and periodic content updates.

  • Conduct A/B testing, formulate product improvement hypotheses, and optimize retention and monetization funnels.

3. Product Development Management

  • Translate requirements from the Board of Directors/Business into PRDs and user stories.

  • Coordinate with Game Designers, Artists, Developers, and QA to ensure product quality and timely delivery.

  • Manage sprints, backlogs, and milestones; oversee releases and post-release updates.

4. Data Analysis & Decision-Making

  • Collaborate with the Data team to design tracking plans and visualize dashboards.​

  • Interpret data, generate insights, and propose changes to optimize both user experience and revenue.

  • Prepare periodic reports for the Board of Directors, highlighting operational results and strategic recommendations.

5. Team Management & Collaboration

  • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Provide support in resolving challenges and flexibly coordinate workload distribution.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in the gaming industry, including at least 2 years in a role such as Product Manager, LiveOps Manager, Producer, or equivalent.

Passionate about gaming with strong game sense (gameplay loop, balance, UX).

Strong skills in planning, progress management, communication, and team collaboration.

Ability to read and understand English documentation.

Proven track record of operating at least one commercial game with actual DAU and demonstrated KPI improvements.

Proficient in data analysis (advanced Excel/Google Sheets; experience with Firebase, GA4, MMP is a plus).

Basic technical knowledge to work effectively with Developers and QA.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-have)

Experience in designing/implementing monetization models (IAP, Ads, Subscription).

Hands-on experience with SQL and BI tools.

Proficiency with project management tools: Jira, Lark Base, Meegle.
