Game Developer (Senior)

Location: Vietnam
Employment Type: Fulltime Contract

Job Description

Ensuring Game Project Quality

  • Develop a plan for building gameplay and feature systems for the project.

  • Implement all outlined systems according to the project timeline.

  • Ability to estimate ETA and accurately assess the progress of work.

  • Expertise in implementing UI based on mock-ups.

  • Delegate tasks to junior/fresher developers under supervision to support the project's efficient progress.

  • Communicate effectively with Game Designers to ensure they have the necessary tools to balance game parameters.

  • Maintain good communication with Artists to ensure receipt of all assets and adherence to optimization rules for the game project.

  • Possess the ability to perceive and polish the game experience and optimize it for performance across various devices.

  • Able to brainstorm and provide insights to enhance the gaming experience.

Training and Supporting New Team Members:

  • Provide direct training to junior developers to equip them with the necessary skills to handle more challenging tasks efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

Knowledge

Proficient in Design Patterns and SOLID principles

Proficient in Unity (C#)

Familiarity with Design Patterns and SOLID principles is a plus

Knowledgeable in optimizing FPS and memory for Unity

Knowledge of Shader is a plus

Knowledge of nodejs, python, nim... is a plus

Skills

Strong communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Research skills

Ability to learn and adapt to new knowledge

Other requirements

Experienced in leading team

Open-mindedness to accept others' opinions

Friendly and cooperative attitude

Enthusiasm for learning and passion for game programming

Experience

Nearly 4 years of experience in game development

Professional Experience

Experienced in rapidly building product prototypes using Unity

Experienced in resolving Crash/ANR issues

Management Experience

Capable of managing and assigning tasks to Junior Developers
