UI/UX Artist for Puzzle Game

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Design for Puzzle Game

  • Design and provide high-quality UI assets (buttons, icons, layout, popups, animations, etc.) that match the artistic style of the puzzle game project, under the direction of the Art Director.​​

  • Develop and optimize the user experience (UX) by arranging the interface to ensure it is intuitive and easy for players to interact with.

  • Ensure the quality and consistency of the UI system, from mockups to final deliverables for both the game and marketing activities.

Creating UI Animation

  • Implement and assist in creating animations for UI elements using Unity or Spine 2D to create engaging effects, delivering lively and attractive experiences for players.​

  • Collaborate closely with the Lead 2D Artist and Art Director to ensure that UI animations align with the game’s style and rhythm.

Project Support and Participation

  • Complete UI design and animation tasks assigned by the Leader and Art Director.

  • Share professional knowledge, assist in training and developing other team members.

  • Ensure the quality and progress of assigned tasks, taking responsibility for personal workload management.

Collaborating with the Team​

  • Contribute to workflow improvement, propose creative ideas and solutions to enhance the effectiveness of UI/UX design.

  • Work closely with 2D/3D artists and Unity developers to integrate and optimize UI into the game.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, discuss ideas, and receive feedback to refine UI/UX products for the puzzle game.

Requirements

Qualifications

Strong UI/UX design thinking, with a good understanding of layout, color schemes, and user interaction.

Flexibility in working with different UI styles and a solid understanding of how to create an optimal user experience for puzzle games.

Knowledge

Solid knowledge of mobile game UI design, including interface design, screen layout, and interactive elements.

Proficient in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator.

Ability to stay up-to-date with modern design trends and apply them to projects.

Experience working with UX principles to optimize player experience.

Knowledge and experience in creating UI animations using Unity or Spine 2D.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in UI/UX design for mobile games, especially puzzle games.

Experience with Unity or Spine 2D is a significant advantage.

Skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Effective time and task management skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively in projects.

Personality and Other Requirements

Passion for games, sociable, enthusiastic, and always eager to learn.

Ability to self-research and continuously develop expertise to improve product quality.

Creative, and sensitive to modern UI/UX design trends.
